In 2015, when the NUCES' boys hostel was closed, the displaced students from other cities and countries faced a lot of problems finding a suitable place to stay, as all the other hostels were far away just like the hostel of NUCES, but also lacked a shuttle or direct bus to the university. Therefore upon the request of the dean of university, we accommodated a very few students for time being and later on the premises was converted into a hostel named "United Boys Hostel".
