Hostel Mess

We serve food based on a weekly menu with three meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner with a healthy portion size that will keep you going the whole day with energy. All the products including the dairy, vegetables, meat, etc are freshly brought from the market on daily basis and cooked fresh. Health being the first priority, we provide special assistance with dietary restriction in case of illness or allergic restrictions. Special Vegetarian menu is also available for vegetarians.

Free Internet

As the whole world has been connected through the world wide web, the Internet has become one of the basic need of society today. Therefore at UBH we provide free internet with unlimited download and a smooth speed of up to 16mb/s, every floor is equipped with 2 internet routers for an extended range, so doesn't matter if you have an online class or if you have to raid another village on COC, we got you covered.

Keyless Entry System

Our hostel has embraced a cutting-edge keyless entry system, revolutionizing security and convenience. The system ingeniously integrates with student IDs, offering a seamless and efficient way to access the main door. This modern solution not only enhances security but also simplifies access management for a hassle-free experience within our welcoming hostel.

24hrs CCTV Monitoring

We give a complete security package including a security agreement and 24hrs CCTV monitoring. With 26 CCTV cameras installed, the hostel is monitored 24/7 to give a fully secure atmosphere. These cutting edge CCTV cameras are well equipped with facial and motion recognition technology with a backup of 6 months.

24hrs Electricity

Load shedding and blackouts are one the most common problems in the fast developing city of Karachi, there is a load shedding of up to 14hrs in Karachi, with an average of 10hrs in most areas. Therefore we do not totally relay on the KE and the whole building runs on one of the most reliable forms of renewable energy source; the solar energy. Well equipped with more than 40 solar panels and Li-ion batteries, we have an energy backup of more than 24hrs, and in case if that fails due to some fault, or if we are in a blackout, we always have a standby electricity generator capable of generating up to 16KW of energy.

Availability of Technician

A technician is also available throw-out the week in working ours for repair or replacement of defective electrical appliances.

Daily Cleaning

Cleanliness being one of the key elements of a healthy life style is a priority in our hostel, for that reason we have 2 cleaners available throughout the day for cleaning the facility, including rooms, baths and the common areas.

Personal Cheff

Two chefs at your service throw-out the day, to prepare and serve delicious and warm food, and to make you a dish of your own choice on the "daily special" meals of the menu (on sundays).

Dinning Area

We have a well equipped dining area with a sitting capacity of 40 people. The dining area is located on the roof top where you can enjoy your meal in fresh breeze. The dinning area does not have a restricted access, i.e. you can go and sit there anytime during the day or night, although we do have a fixed timetable for the meals served thrice a day.

Lounges

For the comfort there is a well furnished lounge with couches, TV, a water dispenser, cupboard and a ironing table on every floor. Students can have a great time with colleagues and friends in the common room, all the common rooms are CCTV monitored for the security of the purposes.

Free Drinkable Water

we provide proper treated, Reverse Osmosis (RO) processed and Mineralised water, refined through 2 sets of 3-micron filters and an active carbon filter. The water quality is regularly tested and a healthy T.D.S of 150 and a PH between 7 and 8 is maintained.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hostel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I met some amazing people during my stay. The location is also very convenient, close to local shops and transport. I had an outstanding experience staying at the hostel of FAST University Karachi! I shifted to this hostel a year ago from clifton but i might say this is the best hostel in terms of interior, cleanliness and everything But when i was moving i heard there are food issues and most of the students eat from outside restaurants and when i shifted i saw the same issue but not regularly these were the issues which happened once a week or once in 15 days which is quite acceptable. This is just because they mix all those masalas and put same in every dish that make it suitable for some dishes and worst for others Specially omelette

Stayed for one year , had a great time , no issues related to water electricity or internet. The mess service is also above decent from separate menus for vegetarians students to supportive cooking staff . The hostel is close to Fast university and is definitely recommend. Overall 10/10 service
